Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope everyone is having a good Sunday. I just finished making an Easter popup card for my granddaughters. This was a real labor of love. I do like how it turned out even though the image ended up being pixelated after taking it into Photo Shop to get rid of the colored lines for folding and cutting.
I do not remember where I got the black and white template from for this popup card. It was probably on a website geared for children. I took the jpg into Studio and traced it. Then I had to add the fold lines in Studio. Then I took the image into Photo Shop to get rid of the colored lines. No easy task. Once it was cut out then it was time to play. I chalked the sky and grass. Colored with color pencils which I really enjoyed doing. I colored the bow with a glitter pen. I had to go back and use a black colored pencil to give it definition. If I do this card again I'll color the bow in with colored pencils also. The Happy Easter was colored also with a glitter pen. I hope that my granddaughters will like it.
That is all for now. I'm off to do sentiments for the inside of my Easter cards so I can get them in the mail this week. That way people can enjoy them a little longer rather than waiting at the last minute.
Thank you for stopping by and do come back again. Wishing you Happy Frugal Crafting till we meet again!
