And here is my take on it with Miss Clara with her sparkly elegant shoes.(click image to enlarge)
Although I could not duplicate the colors exactly I love the blue and green combination. I don't know why but for some reason the bows on the shoes reminded me of chevrons so I went and designed a chevron background. Miss Clara is a retired stamp from Free Vintage Digital Stamps. She had the pink already so instead of going and trying to change it I left it as it is. I used Folk Art glitter paint on her shoes and chalks to color the image. As well as a glitter gel pen for the sash and ribbon on her shoulders.
You still have time to enter the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger HERE If at this time you don't want to enter I do encourage you to look at the submissions because there is lots of inspiration there.
Thanks for stopping by. Do come back because if it works out I'll have a post using tape for a challenge over at Simon Stamp And Show. If not I'll at least have a Halloween post using another image from Free Vintage Digital Stamps. Wishing you Happy Frugal Crafting till we meet again.
Love this, the chevron background looks great!
ReplyDeleteChevrons look great with this vintage image, I haven't worn heel in so long, I don't think I could walk in them anymore, lol, but I love to look at them. hugs
ReplyDeleteThe Chevron background goes so well with this lovely vintage image. You designed everything so well. I'm looking forward to seeing more chevron designs. Thank you Myoriah for sharing.
