Hiding In My Craft Room Any Holiday

Hi everyone it is Saturday once again and time for another challenge over at Hiding In My Craft Room. Since this is the 4th Saturday of the month the challenge is any holiday.

 Since I was able to purchase three digital images set with the voucher I was given  today I have multiple cards to share. Of course I had to purchase a fourth set as I totally fell in love with her images. Luckily the dog grabbed my credit card before I could do too much damage to the pocketbook.

Background was airbrushed as I felt like the machine had been gathering dust long enough.  I need more practice with using more than one color with a stencil but like how the border turned out. The bird is from the "Believe" set. I used soft pastels to color. I also used the Happy Easter set for the sentiment. I figured it was time to dust off a pair of decorative scissors to cut it out. Then I adhered it to a scrap of card stock which I had rounded the corners.

I decided to play with using Liquid Metals and Brusho together.  The colors were darker than I wanted so while my paper was still wet I pulled a print by placing a piece of card stock which picked up some of the color. I dusted off  one of my photo corner punches.

I printed out the image from the "Just Because" set on photo paper after adding another sentiment from the "Happy Easter" set. I colored with Tulip Fabric markers. I love the brush tips for coloring.

I airbrushed my background and then used a stencil with the air brush and a stencil.  The paper I printed my image on is paper which I recycled used coffee grounds. I added the black lines to the image before printing.  I used a gel pen to color the stamen on the Words Of Hope image. The leaves were colored with color pencils. The sentiment is also from the Happy Easter set.

This card was so fun to do. The background was created with torn tissue paper and acrylic floor wax. Then embossed after the floor wax had dried. I cut my shaped frame out of pattern paper I've been hoarding as I have been clueless on how to use it.  I printed on the sentiment from the Happy Easter set. For grass I painted on Radiant Neon Amplify. After resizing the chick and printing out I used Radiant Neon Amplify brushing it on so that the lines of the image would show. Then using my heat gun. The beak and feet are colored with a pencil.

Are you doing Easter cards? I don't do a lot but there are a few people I'll be giving cards to and this challenge was the perfect one to motivate me to create some.
