A Blast From The Past

Hi everyone today I have a fun card which is a blast from the past. The theme this month over at the Just For Fun blog is 50's Flashback. Having grown up in the 50's I've had a blast creating using this theme. Today I have a mixed media creation which would be perfect to make a masculine card.

I used paper designed for oil and acrylic paint for my base. I painted silver paint  for my parking area. Then when it was dry stamped the Drive In. I wasn't sure how well it was going to stamp but like the result. I colored with a color pencil. The sky was colored with chalk. I then stamped the 57 Chevy and although the photo doesn't show I applied Dimensional Magic for the windows and lights. I used a black Glaze pen for the tires and a yellow one for the parking lights. The rest of it was colored with pencils.
