Faux Handmade Paper Card

My faux handmade paper was dried this morning so I made this card. I love how it turned out.
I used chalk on a cotton ball in a circular motion to color the card base since I haven't found my color blank cards yet..

For my faux hand made paper I used a retired Sizzix folder that usually rips when I try to emboss with it card stock. Because my media was wet it did not rip when I embossed it. While my paper was still in folder I colored it with my metallic water color paints.

The frame I used "Shaved Ice" fragments on. I didn't realize that it was pink color fragments along with some blue ones.

The focal point is a stamp from Cloud 9. I stamped it in black and colored it with colored pencils. Then cut it out. The flower is pop dotted and the panel it is on is pop dotted.

This was a fun technique to try. Now I'm anxious to try it using paper pulp to make my paper.

Thank you for stopping by and looking. Wishing you Happy Frugal Crafting till we meet again!

It is gorgeous!!!! What a great technique.
I know the flower is supposed to be in the spotlight but I think the whole thing is perfect.
