This card the background is embossed plastic which the back side was painted with glitter paint and a food divider paper placed over the wet paint. The front embossed part was colored with Sharpies.
The focal image is stamped on the food divider paper and colored on the back side with color pencils. Then cut in a heart shape. The sentiment is stamped on the left over scrap of the food divider paper. Adhesive trim was placed to cover the seam of the embossed and sentiment piece.
The background for this card is a napkin. The focal piece is stamped on a scrap piece of card stock. Colored once again with pencils. Then the heart is trimmed with adhesive trim. The sentiment is stamped on food divider and the words cut apart to fit on the speech bubble.
Both stamped sentiments are from the Just For Fun unmounted sentiment stamp number 1 stamp. This stamp has all kinds of sentiments.
There you have it one stamp and two different cards. Love is in the air. Do you make Valentine or Anniversary cards?
Wishing you Happy Frugal Crafting till we meet again!
Love your Valentine cards, but especially like the first one and how you embossed plastic. Very cool results. Yes, I made four Valentine cards this year. Certainly not many because they were so detailed with lots of layers. But, at least my son and daughter will get one--just not my mom and sisters.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment I love creating backgrounds with embossed plastic.
